Artist’s Statement

My works are realised as a hybrid of performance, sculpture, and installation that are interested in threat, madness and the extreme.. Displayed within cases, sculptural tools and objects have been prepared and fabricated for specific performances. These performances often involve an immanence of danger that gradually escalates by me repeating the same task. When presented with  the works, the audience experiences degrees of struggle, empathy, fear, and excitement. After each performance, the space is left as residue, presented as an installation. Overall the work reflects my interest in dark humour and aggression.
