If tickets to your favourite event are sold out, you are encouraged to try the returns queue at the ICA Box Office on the day of the event: ten minutes after Playback events begin, unclaimed tickets are distributed to waitlist customers and visitors present in the ICA foyer
Playback Festival 2018 brings together the work of over 300 emerging artists in one interactive exhibition of short experimental films, alongside five days of screenings, live spoken word performances, discussions and practical workshops. All entirely free to attend.
Playback Festival 2018 is the culmination of a year-long tour of the Playback exhibition that travelled the length and breadth of England, appearing at twenty arts venues from Newcastle to Plymouth and visited by over 50,000 people. Find out more about the tour here. With 112 new short films added to the exhibition, we are back at the ICA for the last stop on the tour and a celebration of artist film and creativity.
