Publish And Be Damned is an ongoing project for discussing and promoting alternative directions in publishing outside the mainstream. The project began with a fair and exhibition organised by Kit Hammonds and Emily Pethick at Cubitt,London (2004) and the fair was later curated by Sarah McCrory and Joe Scotland (2007 and 2008). Publish and Be Damned demonstrates individual experimental approaches to making and distributing the work of artists, writers and musicians outside of the commercial mainstream and has staged publishing fairs, a touring archive and occasional events. Currently, PABD is run by Kit Hammonds, Kate Phillimore and Louise O’Hare.
