Cinemania

21 Aug 201422 Apr 2015

Cinemania is regular programme of films and talks for young audiences which runs in 12 cinemas across London. As a partner venue, the ICA hosts monthly matinee screenings of original films that will spark discussion and touch upon the creativity of the medium as well as its use in representing social issues.

The films shown at the ICA are targeted to 16-19 year-olds, with the opportunity for visitors in this age group to help programme the final screening of the series in May.

The ICA offers accompanying Resource Packs with activities, discussion points and ideas for further engagement with the content of the screenings.

Cinemania screenings are an initiative related to the ICA's Young Independents, an exciting new forum for young people aged 16+, giving the opportunity to engage in discussions after the screenings, talk to invited speakers and to programme an event in the series.
