The Films of Lukas Moodysson

27 Oct 200616 Nov 2006

Swedish director Lukas Moodysson has become his country's most successful cinematic export since Ingmar Bergman.

His initial success with the warm relationship tales Show Me Love and Together allowed Moodysson to take viewers to darker places with his subsequent films, although the empathy he has with his compromised characters has never faltered. His new film Container (showing through to 16 November) is his most experimental to date.
