Chloe Trayner is a film and events programmer with a focus on talent development and non-fiction programming. She is currently the Associate Director of Open City Documentary Festival as well as programming for the BFI Future Film Festival and co-directing the Overnight Film Festival. She has previously worked with organisations such as Bertha DocHouse, UnderWire Festival, Wellcome Trust and BFI National Archive.

If tickets are sold out, you are encouraged to join the returns queue at the ICA Box Office on the day of the event. For free events there is a high chance you will gain entry, though we cannot guarantee a place. Fifteen minutes after Playback events begin, unclaimed tickets are distributed to waitlist customers and visitors present in the ICA foyer
How do you express your film idea in five minutes? What do commissioners want? How can electronic music be best represented on screen?
Hosted by Martha Pazienti Caida (Radar Radio, Resident Advisor), five selected finalists pitch to a live judging panel to win a £4,000 commission to make an electronic music documentary with the Resident Advisor Films team.
This competition is now closed and five finalists have been selected. Following the pitch they receive feedback from our panel of industry professionals including Chloe Trayner (Open City Documentary Festival/BFI), Patrick Nation (Resident Advisor) and Eloise King (Vice/i-D), with the winner announced later in the evening during the Resident Advisor/Playback Party.
