This event will introduce the three-year STOP PLAY RECORD project and Open Call. Through a range of presentations including Jennifer Byrne, Head of Video at DAZED, short filmmaking will be discussed in relation to the project. Advice for potential applicants will also be available from our project team on the day.
STOP PLAY RECORD is a new three-year programme for creative young people and filmmakers living in London. This is a joint initiative between Arts Council England and Channel 4, which sees the ICA lead a London Network, in partnership with Bloomberg New Contemporaries, the Chisenhale Gallery, DAZED, Kingston University and SPACE.
With our partners, the ICA will be hosting a variety of events about making short films which will take place across London. From screenings and talks, to workshops and practical sessions, emerging talent can access a range of expert-led opportunities to establish and develop their skills.
