This weekend is the final chance to catch Bruce Nauman's Days and the SOUNDWORKS exhibitions in the galleries. As part our sound art weekend this Saturday, Joe Banks, founder of art project Disinformation and researcher at Goldsmiths College and The University of Westminster, will take his seat on our panel discussion - Part II: Acoustic Ambiguities. He is going to talk about Electronic Voice Phenomena recordings and the similarities between audio misconceptions and visual illusions, but at 2.30pm he will also be joining us in the bookshop to sign copies of his latest book, Rorschach Audio.

Rorschach Audio
Joe Banks
£10.00

Part detective story, part artistic and cultural critique, Rorschach Audio lifts the lid on a sparkling array of perceptual and political phenomena. Crucial for everyone interested in audio art, cocktail parties, compost, lip-reading jokes, singing hair, Victorian blood painting and of course, fires.

Other recommended reading:

Please Pay Attention Please
Bruce Nauman
£19.95

A man of few words, despite their prominence in his works, here Nauman’s rare interviews and writings from 1965–2001 are compiled, providing a window on the artist’s industry.

Senses of Vibration
Shelley Trower
£15.99

A study of the senses through the ages, Trower consults physiologists, physicists, spiritualists and poets to form a comprehensive text on the material experience of vibration.
