To coincide with the exhibition Isa Genzken: Basic Research Paintings, architect David Kohn, collector and advisor Silka Rittson-Thomas and ICA Executive Director Gregor Muir discuss the work of this enduring artist through a screening of rarely seen early films, comprising Genzken's Two Women at Combat (1974, Germany, 8 min) and Chicago Drive (Camera: Ray Wang, 1992, US/Germany, 27 min). The evening will feature an exclusive pre-recorded interview with Isa Genzken, conducted by Gregor Muir, talking about her recent ICA exhibition.
David Kohn is an architect and director of London-based practice David Kohn Architects. Recent projects include A Room for London, in collaboration with Fiona Banner, galleries for Thomas Dane and Sotheby’s and a new quad for New College, Oxford. David is visiting professor of architecture at KU Leuven in Ghent, Belgium.
Silka Rittson-Thomas is an art advisor and owner of The TukTuk Flower Studio, a botanical atelier.
