Presented by STOP PLAY RECORD.
Acclaimed director Roberto Minervini leads a discussion with aspiring filmmakers on his development from short films to feature length narrative and documentary films. Looking at short films from the early part of his career Roberto discusses his creative process, how he has funded his projects and his reflections on his early films. Roberto also addresses how he’s managed to combine narrative drama with documentary in his recent feature length films and discusses his development process and research into his work. Following the workshop Roberto invites questions from the audience about his work.
This event is chaired by Wendy Ide, film critic at Screen International, Sight & Sound and The Guardian among others.
