The ICA offers organisations, companies and individuals the chance to deliver unique events in our gallery spaces on the Mall.

Framed Lives: Monarchs
25 September - 27 November 2016
ICA Cinemas

Framed Lives is a long-term programme of film screenings and discussions from the Institute of Psychoanalysis, run by Andrea Sabbadini, a psychoanalyst widely published on the connections between the couch and screen. Each series features four biographical films about iconic individuals within a specific field. Screenings are followed by presentations by psychoanalysts, film scholars and other experts. This series will look at prominent monarchs throughout history, exploring the controversial behaviour of Queen Christina, the episodic brutal rages of Ivan the Terrible, King George III's battle with mental illness and King George VI's struggle to manage his speech impediment.

Anil Sebastian - Mesonoxian Album Launch
27 October 2016

The official launch of Anil Sebastian's new album Mesonoxian, and his first live performance. The album is a masterful interplay between intimacy and expanse, with intricate micro-beats, soaring strings and choral motifs providing a beautiful and dark backdrop to Anil’s entirely unique multi-octave vocals.
 
Anil will be joined by his brother Ingmar Kamalagharan on drums, Cherif Hashizume on modular synth and electronics, Andrew Bird on keyboards and synths, Sian O'Gorman on vocals, as well as a small group from his choir London Contemporary Voices.

The genre-bending Suuns play two consecutive nights at the ICA with the second date announced following a sell-out of their show on the 24th.

Pumarosa are a five-piece band from London whose music has been described as “industrial spiritual” and brings together the brooding, heavier songwriting of PJ Harvey or Patti Smith with the groove-led and nocturnal electronics of The Knife and Cocteau Twins. This will be their first headline concert.

Radio 1 DJ and broadcaster Annie Mac returns with her highly anticipated second installment of the AMP Collected series at the ICA. The AMP Collected series kicks off on Thursday 4 February with 16-year-old British folk prodigy Billie Marten alongside south London based duo A.O.S.O.O.N – this acoustic electronic hybrid create refreshingly honest music with a timeless feel. Cameron AG, aka Cameron A Grote, is an Oxford-based multi-instrumentalist:his beautiful new track ‘Lost Direction' earned him Annie Mac's Hottest Record In The World in October, this young talented musician joins the bill.

AMP Collected: Formation / Mabel / Bonzai

The second in the AMP Collected series of 2016 takes place on Thursday 10 March with south London disco-punk duo Formation. They have recently announced their new EP ‘Under The Tracks' and continue to enthrall audiences with their energetic and infectious live performances. Announcing the London debut of one of Annie's big tips for 2015; Mabel has been championed as one of the most exciting new talents to emerge this year. Dublin-based artist Bonzai will be performing alongside Formation and Mabel.

JONES brings a fresh tongue to a classic style, blending polished electronic sounds with raw, organic elements, echoing her modern musical loves. On the surface JONES’ songs all have a soft, romantic touch, yet in fact she is writing about love and life from the perspective of a tough-skinned outsider. Having sold out London St Pancras Old Church November show in minutes, Jones has rounded off an exceptional year being chosen as a Spotify Spotlight Artist for 2016.
