I am Dora launched last week, and for those of you who missed it, here's a link to the introduction made by founder Jemma Desai.
Finally we can show you the beautiful publication which accompanies Part 1. Taking inspiration from the fragmentary nature of both films and the story of Dora herself – their interplay between real and imagined, seen and unseen, said and unsaid – collaborators Jemma Desai and Claire Huss assemble a very intimate visual and textual narrative to Jemma's identification with the character of Dora. This includes fragments from writings by Hélène Cixous, Louise Bourgeois and Ivan Ward with original text by Jemma Desai.
The publication is designed by Claire Huss, at the ICA Bookshop and online in a limited run of 200.
