Auto Italia LIVE: Saturday 9 June, 7pm

This Saturday the artist collective Auto Italia South East present Auto Italia LIVE: Double Dip Concession, a TV show broadcast live from the ICA Theatre.

Performed before a studio audience and broadcast over the internet, the project engages directly with contemporary broadcast culture as a space for new work and considers how physical communities use the internet to distribute ideas. Using the formal techniques of live TV – its camera moves, soundtrack, catch phrases and live-editing – the broadcast aims to create a new space for artists and to raise questions as to what it means to be making live TV now.

Doors open at 7pm, the last entry is at 7.15 with the show going live at 7.30pm. Please note, latecomers will not be admitted. The broadcast will also be streamed live into the ICA Bar and Cafe from 7.20pm, so if you don't manage to get a ticket you can still come down on Saturday night and enjoy the performance.
