Refugee Tales

The closing event of the second Refugee Tales walk, where poets and novelists retold the stories of individuals who have direct experience of Britain’s policy of indefinite immigration detention.

This event involved poets and novelists such as Ali Smith, Patience Agbabi and David Herd who all read from the Refugee Tales publication, and the evening concluded with a special performance by activist singer-songwriter Billy Bragg.
