Artists and filmmakers Carlo Gabriele Tribbioli and Federico Lodoli discuss their conceptual process and approach to developing the feature-length documentary Fragment 53. In a series of seven self-contained portraits with eminent warriors collected in Liberia, the filmmakers address war both as an archetypal force and an actual phenomenon expressed by its human agents.
