Retrospective: Folk///Projects + Q&A

12 Jan 2011

Joe King & Rosie Pedlow are two British artists working primarily in moving image. Their work is exhibited in the UK and internationally to wide acclaim and in 2008 they were awarded the inaugural Jerwood Moving Image Award for their work Sea Change (2006). This programme traces a journey from individual to collaborative working that takes in a wide range of influences, interests and themes ranging from the rhythmic combination of image and sound, reflections on modes of representation, to meditations on landscape and evocations of place. Their most recent work, Strange Lights (2010), maintains a balance between celebration and criticality as it revisits the site of an alleged UFO incident in Rendlesham Forest in search of similarly 'inexplicable' events.

Both Pedlow and King will be in attendance for a Q&A following the screening.
