On the Suffolk mudflats creaks an isolated bird-hide. Inside is Roy Tunt, a birder who, once he sights the elusive plover, will have twitched the entire British List. From this simple beginning develops a crisp thriller, as Roy's solitude is shattered by the arrival of a bedraggled stranger. With superlative performances from Alex MacQueen and Phil Campbell, director Marek Losey (grandson of Joseph) ensures his minimal means have maximum impact.
The Hide was shot by cinematographer George Richmond with ARRIFLEX D-21 film style digital cameras supplied by ARRI Media.
