For their first London reading, all-female online journal tender presents commissioned works by poets, ekphrastic texts—most often a response to visual art—that draw on atypical source material. This event is part of Sophie Collins’ Associate Poet residency at the ICA. Speakers include Rachael Allen, Sophie Collins, Daisy Lafarge, Kathryn Maris and Denise Saul.
Rachael Allen's first pamphlet of poems was published by Faber. Her poetry is forthcoming in Poetry, Best British Poetry 2015 and Poetry London. She is the poetry editor for Granta magazine, co-editor of anthology series Clinic and online journal tender. She studied English Literature at Goldsmiths College, and is about to begin a PhD at Hull University.
Sophie Collins is co-editor of online quarterly tender. She received an Eric Gregory Award in 2014. Her first collection will be published by Penguin in 2017.
