Blending art, music and stunning visuals, with an original soundtrack by Damien Rice, Thom Yorke and Philip Glass, When the Dragon Swallowed the Sun presents a powerful portrait of the Tibetan movement and its current contexts. Featuring Richard Gere, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the Dalai Lama and a range of diverse voices from within the Tibetan exile community, this documentary examines the complexity of the struggle with great emotional impact. the screening is followed by a director Q&A.
