Terracotta Film Festival: Postcards from the Zoo

A beautiful and dreamlike adventure telling the story of Lana, a girl raised by a giraffe trainer after being abandoned in Jakarta zoo.

Lana grew up surrounded by animals, boundaries and the sounds of subdued wilderness. In a world that was never built to be a home, young Indonesian director Edwin presents an enchanting romance full of myths, magic and memories.

A co-production between Indonesia, Germany and Hong Kong, Postcards from the Zoo premiered at the 2012 Berlinale.
