Panellists include Phillip Larratt-Smith, curator of From her wooden sleep . . . Ydessa Hendeles and Mark Sealy, curator of the Photographers' Gallery exhibition Human Rights, Human Wrongs (6 Feb – 6 Apr 2015).
Philip Larratt-Smith is a writer and curator based in New York and, since 2014, Chief Curator of the Faurschou Foundation in Copenhagen and Beijing. Recent curatorial projects include: Ydessa Hendeles From her wooden sleep… (2015), ICA London; Louise Bourgeois. Larratt-Smith has written extensively on postwar and contemporary art, including such artists as Roni Horn, Guillermo Kuitca, Philip Guston, Milton Resnick, and Esther Kläs.
Mark Sealy is the curator of Director of Autograph ABP. In 2007, Sealy was awarded the Hood Medal for services to photography by the Royal Photographic Society. He is currently a PhD candidate at Durham University. His research focuses on photography and cultural violence.
