1 Jan 2012 – 8 Mar 2017
Friday Salons are discursive seminars that focus on presenting new models of working, artistic strategies and the latest research into current cultural developments. The series is aimed at promoting audience interaction and professional development, enabling genuine dialogue between invited speakers and audiences around contemporary culture and in relation to the exhibitions programme.
Friday Salons for Schools offer young people, KS4, KS5 and Foundation students the chance to shape their own learning, by setting a theme for discussion that’s relevant to them. If you’re interested in enabling young people to expand their experience of the curriculum and contribute to ideas in culture, these discursive group sessions are ideal. Students tell us what they want to debate, who they think should take part, and how they’d like the session to run. Propose to work with us as a group through your school, college, or youth group. The minimum number of participants 5 and the maximum is 30.
