TCM Crime Scene Masters Award: Bertrand Tavernier

25 Sep 200828 Sep 2008

One of the world's greatest film makers and cineastes, French director Bertrand Tavernier's career spans over three decades. Throughout, he has nurtured a passion for noir film and literature and has consistently returned to the genre.

It is with the greatest pleasure that we welcome him to be TCM Crime Scene's guest of honour to accompany our retrospective of his noir work and to be the inaugural recipient of the TCM Crime Scene Master's Award.
