Film Africa

Film Africa is the Royal African Society's annual festival celebrating the best contemporary cinema from across Africa and its diaspora. The 2016 festival will take place in venues across London from 28 October to 6 November.

In collaboration with Film Africa, the ICA will screen Those Who Jump, in which a Malian refugee documents his experiences of attempting to scale the barriers separating Morocco and Spain and In the Last Days of the City, which follows a Cairo-based filmmaker as he seeks to capture the zeitgeist of his city, in the shadow of the impending revolution of 2011.
