Bolly Horror

18 Aug 200731 Aug 2007

The ICA takes a look at the darker side of the south Asian movie industry, from past to present.

Traditional folk tales, myths of reincarnation, hauntings and shapeshifting snakes mix it up with monsters from Western horror culture, drawing on such films as Dracula, The Exorcist and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The whole thing begins and ends with a preview of Pakistan's first gore movie Hell's Ground.
