What do you do if you're posted alone to North Korea and then China to supervise animation productions? Cartoonist Guy Delisle recorded the baffling everyday strangeness of these communist societies.
Delisle will be in conversation with novelist Michel Faber, author of Under the Skin (2000), shortlisted for the Whitbread First Novel Award, the 2002 magnum opus The Crimson Petal and the White, and most recently a collection of short stories, The Apple.
