If tickets are sold out, you are encouraged to join the returns queue at the ICA Box Office on the day of the event. For free events there is a high chance you will gain entry, though we cannot guarantee a place. Fifteen minutes after Playback events begin, unclaimed tickets are distributed to waitlist customers and visitors present in the ICA foyer
Join us for a one-off evening of live spoken word poetry and film screenings exploring the boundaries between art forms and tracing the overlap between the cinematic and the performative.
See performances from five emerging artists as featured in the Playback exhibition, followed by award-winning poet and author Hollie McNish reading from her latest collections Plum (2017), Nobody Told Me (2016) and Cherry Pie (2015).
