Open City Docs Fest: Z32 + Director Q&A

19 Jun 2014

Described as a 'musical-documentary-tragedy' by director Avi Mograbi, this playful documentary tells the story of an Israeli ex-soldier who participated in a revenge operation in which two Palestinian policemen were murdered, and who now seeks forgiveness for what he has done. His girlfriend doesn't think it's that simple and raises issues he is yet not ready to address. The soldier willingly testifies on camera as long as his identity is not exposed. While the filmmaker keeps looking for the proper way to conceal the soldier’s identitya computer animated mask being one optionhe questions his own political and artistic conduct along the way.

Avi Mograbi, director, will be present for a Q&A following the screening.
