Members' Screening: The Man Without a Past

30 Sep 2006

The ICA is pleased to present a series of free screenings for its Members from the ICA Films back catalogue. These monthly screenings will feature the best of ICA Films' history in supporting independent cinema.

Our first screening is Aki Kaurismaki's Man Without a Past, a delirious mixture of black comedy and love story.

'M' is a man who arrives in Helsinki to be set upon by thugs and pronounced dead by the medics. By some miracle he comes to, but with no memory or his identity. Rebuilding his life from scratch, 'M' falls in love with a Salvation Army volunteer. But the past inevitably catches up with him.

Finland/Germany/France 2002 Dir Aki Kaurismaki
