Still: The Bothersome Man

Members' Preview: The Bothersome Man

29 Apr 2007

"Delightfully droll... bone-dry black comedy" Variety
Winner: Black Tulip, Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival.

Office drone Andreas (Trond Fausa Aurvag) finds himself dropped off by bus in a bleak desert and then taken to tidy city where he is given a cozy flat and an easy job. Before long he is living with a lovely interior designer and enduring an ordinary life... but something is very wrong with this strange world where you can never get drunk and where it seems impossible to die, and he is determined to find the truth. Hailed as a cross between David Lynch and Jacques Tati, The Bothersome Man makes for wonderfully surreal viewing.

An ICA Films release.
