It’s all in the title: Heavy Metal Parking Lot became an underground cult classic that captured Judas Priest fans pre-concert, May 1986. Usually traded on bootleg VHS videotapes, it was reportedly a favourite on the Nirvana tour bus.

The second part of a double-bill of documentaries spanning the decades, examining the dreams and aspirations of each generation of ‘youth’ past. Where possible, these classic films are being screened from original formats including 35mm, presenting a rare chance to see these hard-to-catch films on the big screen. The final film in the programme is the LSFF With Teeth commission by Grace Ladoja, a celebration of subculture in London 2016.
