Loney, Dear or Emil Svanängen, is a multi-instrumentalist and one-man-orchestra from Stockholm. Exhilarating and melancholy, joyous and confessional all at once, his work is relatable with an international appeal.
Shout Out Louds is one of Sweden's best known recent indie exports bringing its first live performance in two years exclusively to the ICA. The band recently released their second album Our Ill Willis, featureing the radio hit Tonight I Have To Leave It.
Maia Hirasawa is the first act to collect the Scandinavian Alternative Music Award as an unsigned artist. Maia's voice is strikingly beautiful and her charm as a performer indisputable. Swedish-Japanese Maia Hirasawa recently stepped out from the shadow of Hello Saferide with whom she often shares a berth. www.myspace.com/maiahirasawa
