Letter Pieces by Matthew Shlomowitz

Contemporary composer and lecturer Matthew Shlomowitz presents film archives from his Letter Pieces series - works for visual performers and musicians. As co-director of Plus Minus Ensemble, Matthew has a keen interest in the performative and as a member of InterInterInter has explored the role of the audience in live work. The Letter Piece films will be on display throughout Live Weekend: Notation and Interpretation, referencing the point at which the disciplines of composition and performance intersect and progress from each other.
