Rita Vogt is seduced into the 1970s terrorist scene through her sense of justice and her love for Andi. A few years later, realising that the movement is falling apart, she goes underground, hiding in the GDR. When the wall comes down in 1989, Rita is afraid she will be found and send back to West Germany for prosecution and makes one last effort to escape.
