A loose adaptation of Witold Gombrowicz’s phenomenal prose text Cosmos. Awarded The Best Direction prize at the 2015 Locarno Film Festival, Cosmos is a metaphysical noir thriller that tells the story of two friends who spend time at the countryside guesthouse where they discover mysterious and frightening signs. Żuławski admited that the greatest challenge of his newest picture was to capture the Witold Gombrowicz’s style.
