Orphaned at the age of eight, Kim Doo-han survives on the street through his natural born fighting skills. He is soon recognised for his incredible ability by the local student gang, through whom he learns he is the son of General Kim Jwa-jin, who fought against the Japanese army. The General’s Son follows the course of Kim Doo-han’s rise through the Korean street gangs which, through unconventional means, protect the same streets Doo-han’s father once fought to protect.
