Christmas is the season of musical nightmares - best-of compilations, novelty singles, the race for Christmas Number 1, sleigh bells and ho-ho-hos. Luckily, ILN delves a little deeper and reveals some truly strange and wonderful yuletide surprises. Expect jolly jazz jingles, festive folk and funk, Santa soul, honky-tonk hymns, country carols and weird winter warmers. Wrap up warm and join us for a sing-along around the conceptual ICA Christmas tree.
We're also pleased to welcome the live old-school Delta slide sounds and early ragtime blues of Cambridge-based Tom Colborn. He might even play a Christmas carol if you ask nicely.
This night will be our last at the ICA for a while, so a fond farewell will entail a few old friends playing out some ILN favourites inbetween bouts of Christmas cheer. You have been warned!
