Hope and a Little Sugar

This poignant tale centres on the romance between Muslim photographer Ali and young Sikh woman Saloni. When Saloni's husband Harry dies on 9/11, his father, a retired Sikh Colonel, directs his longstanding animosity toward Muslims at Ali, whose affection for Saloni grows increasingly evident. Unable to accept his son's death, the colonel threatens to bring a violent end to Ali and Saloni's budding romance.
