Generous Illusion

Nathan Jones is a poet, performer and Creative Director of Mercy. In 2009-10 he was poet in residence at the Bluecoat, Liverpool's major interdisciplinary arts institution. A response to this residency, Generous Illusion is part lecture, part love story, reflecting on the place of poetry in art and fatherhood. The performance is accompanied by voice responsive visual imagery by Scott Spencer, and a soundtrack by composer Carl Brown.
