Due to close family illness Manu Luksh is no longer able to lead the Gallery Tour on Thursday 13 November. Please accept our sincere apologies for any disappointment that this may cause and we look forward to welcoming you back to the ICA in the near future.
Manu Luksch leads a gallery tour of the Neïl Beloufa: Counting on People exhibition.
Manu Luksch is an intermedia artist whose practice interrogates conceptions of progress through the devising of tools and frameworks and the instigation of processes, with a strong emphasis on research and and collaboration. She is founding director of ambientTV.NET, a crucible for independent, interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of art, technology and social criticism.
Her focus is on the effects of emerging technologies on daily life, social relations, urban space, and political structures – specifically, possible futures of infrastructures, the thresholds and constraints of public space, and the traces of data that accumulate in digital networked societies.
Her works are shown at venues and festivals internationally. Her internationally acclaimed film installation, FACELESS, narrated by Tilda Swinton is held by the Collection Centre Pompidou.
