Join Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning director Joshua Oppenheimer of the ground-breaking documentaries The Act of Killing (2012) and The Look of Silence (2014) for an exclusive masterclass about his filmmaking methodologies and practice, hosted by film critic Eric Hynes. In this masterclass, Oppenheimer focuses on the representation and perception of the ‘other’ and the concept of otherness in documentary cinema, and discusses some of the ethical challenges of documentary filmmaking through examples from his work.
