12 Jun 2010 – 4 Jul 2010
With the 2010 World Cup turning the spotlight on African football, this investigative documentary questions what it takes for an African player to make the transition to a top European club. Focusing on Ghana, and on a talented teenager named Francis, the film sheds light on the relationships between young players, agents, managers and bureaucrats.
To coincide with Football Fables we will be showing a selection of World Cup screenings in the bar.
On 19 June there will be a director's Q&A plus DJ's inbetween matches in the bar until 1am.
