"An outstanding film. It's superb." The New York Times
Former US Marine Captain Brian Steidle went to Sudan as an unarmed military observer for the African Union, and took photographs of the atrocities he witnesses in the Darfur region. This powerful documentary charts his frustration with the international community's inaction, which led him to resign, and his return to the US to expose the images of lives destroyed. Winner of the Best International Feature Documentary at Britdoc 2007.
