To tie-in with the release of neo-gialli Amer, a chance to see the full version of Dario Argento’s classic horror-mystery on the big-screen. A psychic detects the presence of a murderer at a public show, and is swiftly despatched. A musician who witnessed her revelation (played by Blow Up’s David Hemmings) investigates further, uncovering some eerie secrets.
Deep Red will be screening from digibeta, due to the unavailability of 35mm prints or HD material. Deep Red is in Italian with English subtitles. The screening print predates the recent DVD re-issue and include two small BBFC cuts totalling 11 seconds that have been reinstated.
