Artist Christian Marclay, known for his iconic film works Video Quartet and The Clock, and writer Geoff Dyer discuss their work and the changing shape of culture today.

The Clock has recently met with huge critical and popular acclaim following its debut at the White Cube Gallery and its inclusion in the British Art Show last year. The work was awarded the Golden Lion award at the Venice Biennale this summer and Newsweek listed him as one of the ten most important artists working today.

Geoff Dyer is a novelist, whose books include Jeff in Venice, Death in Varanasi, he is also an essayist and journalist, who was made a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2005 and has won, among other awards, the 2009 GQ writer of the year.
