Cinema as Art

Cinema as Art

26 May 2012

Considering the cinema as a suitable site for artists' film and moving image, the panel discusses the shifting contexts of collective viewing and investigates how showing moving image work in the gallery, cinema or screening room can challenge the ways we engage with artists' moving image.

Chaired by writer, researcher and lecturer Maeve Connolly, with artist Jesse Jones, artist, curator and writer Ian White and artist, writer and curator Lucy Reynolds.

The biennial hosts a high-profile series of chaired panel discussions and talks, in association with Film London Artists’ Moving Image Network (FLAMIN)
