Bhoot

A supernatural thriller which was a box-office smash in 2003. A young couple move into their ideal home on the 12th floor of a swanky Mumbai high rise, undeterred by the discovery that the previous tenant killed her son and committed suicide. Loaded with evocative sound effects and shocking surprises that nod to The Exorcist, Bhoot - like Darna Mana Hai the same year - jettisons musical numbers in favour of tension-building atmosphere.
