Batmacumba: Urban Bateria Mash-up

This month Batmacumba presents live music from b-loco, with an upfront mash-up of Brazilian beats from London's craziest urban bateria appearing for the first time at Batmacumba. B-loco came together inspired by the challenge of updating global percussion for a demanding London audience. The results have been impressive with sellout gigs all around the UK.

The 'loco' sound blends Brazilian and African influences with funk, drum & bass and hip hop in an original street style - just the way we like it at Batmacumba. Deck support comes via resident DJ Cliffy with samba, funk, carimbo and other musical nuggets from his various trips around Brazil.
