Paul Clinton is a writer and edits the books column at frieze where he is also the editorial assistant. He recently co-organised the conference Shimmering World on slickness and new technologies in contemporary art, featuring Ed Atkins, David Panos and Hannah Sawtell. His AHRC awarded research on stupidity and sexuality lead to editing a special issue of the academic journal parallax and an event dedicated to his project at the South London Gallery. Speaking engagements include at Goldsmiths, University of Manchester, Whitechapel Gallery and the Whitstable Biennale, whilst writing includes for frieze and catalogue essays for artists such as Bonnie Camplin. A founding member of the band No Bra he co-wrote songs on the album Dance and Walk. In 2015 he will curate an exhibition on stupidity and resistance.
