The Ape

This tense and bleak Swedish film follows a deeply unsympathetic man, Krister, as he wakes up in a bathroom covered in blood and we slowly find out what horrific circumstances brought him there. This is an enigmatic and ferocious piece of Nordic noir which takes a classic thriller blueprint and fearlessly creates something new and very disturbing from it.
